Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ - Extended Length Belts
A new and unique manufacturing process allows longer andcustom length endless belts than have previously been available.This manufacturing process is used for the following belt lengthranges: 8M Pitch Lengths > 4480mm and 14M Pitch Lengths >4410mm.
Markets/Applications All industrial markets requiring long center distance and high loadcarrying capacity. Especially targeted towards HVAC, roller chainand gear replacement, oil, mining, water treatment plants, pulp andpaper, and general manufacturing.

- Durable polyurethane construction resists chemicals, oil, pollutants, and abrasion.
- Nylon tooth facing reduces friction and eliminates the need for lubrication.
- Gates patented curvilinear tooth profile provides high shear strength, and improved load carrying capacity.
- Fully operational in temperature extremes of -65°F to +185°F (-54°C to +85°C).
Recommended Sprockets Poly Chain® GT®2 Sprockets - 8M and 14M
Notes Belt pitch is the distance in millimeters between two adjacent tooth centers as measured on the pitch line of the belt. Belt pitch length is the total length (circumference) in millimeters as measured along the pitch line. The theoretical pitch line of a Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ belt lies within the tensile member.
Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ Spiral Spliced Belts are Standard/Non-Stock and may require lead time. Please check with Customer Service for availability.
WARNING: Use of non-Gates manufactured sprockets is not recommended: Gates Poly® Chain® GT®2 sprockets are manufactured, specifiedand tested to fully support the full capabilities of the Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ belt. Product performance cannot be guaranteed whennon-Gates sprockets are used. Always utilize Taper-Lock® type Gates Poly Chain® GT®2 Sprockets when designing a new Poly Chain® GT®Carbon™ belt drive system.
